Enhancing Cyber Resilience at Ashdod Port with Salvador Technologies
As Israel’s largest seaport, Ashdod Port relies on uninterrupted operations to ensure efficient cargo movement. A critical challenge was maintaining business continuity for Operational Technology (OT) systems, particularly for cranes and key infrastructure. For over a decade, the port relied on manual backups, a time-consuming process requiring physical access to each station and significant recovery time in case of failure.
To address this, Salvador Technologies deployed its Cyber Recovery Unit (CRU) across critical endpoints, including crane management systems (CMS) and operational servers. The solution enabled automatic, frequent backups of OS configurations and data files, ensuring seamless recovery. A secure offsite backup option was also implemented.
