DriveU.auto's collaboration with the Port of Ashdod brought its autonomous vehicle platform into one of Israel's most active and operationally complex port environments. The port handles thousands of vehicle and cargo movements daily across a large yard with simultaneous human-operated machinery, variable traffic patterns, and no tolerance for downtime. The pilot focused on autonomous yard movement, testing DriveU.auto's ability to navigate Ashdod's internal road network, interact safely with human-operated vehicles and machinery, and maintain operational continuity under live port conditions. The results demonstrated that autonomous last-mile logistics is key for Ashdod.
