Flyz develops innovative drones equipped with a unique landing mechanism that enables them to attach to vertical and uneven surfaces. By analyzing surface material, orientation, and line of sight, the drone can securely land, turn off its engines, and extend operational duration.
In addition to long endurance, Flyz drones can deploy and retrieve sensors or devices, making them ideal for surveillance, inspection, and industrial applications in challenging environment.
Ashdod Port faces challenges in monitoring certain operational areas, particularly ship holds, where fixed cameras cannot be installed. This lack of oversight increases the risk of errors, accidents, and inefficiencies.
To address this, Flyz Robotics deployed its Drobot, a drone capable of attaching temporary cameras in restricted areas.
This innovation improves safety and operational efficiency while offering future commercialization opportunities. The final Drobot model, weighing under 250g, will be exempt from standard drone regulations, allowing global scalability. Future integration at Ashdod Port could include an autonomous fleet of drones, deployed from a central control room for real-time monitoring and data collection.
